Terry London's review of the LPS+ paired with the Pro-Ject CD Box RS2 transport

"Both the Pro-Ject and Linear Tube Audio linear power supplies dramatically improved the performance of the Box RS2 transport. However, the Linear Tube Audio's power supply effect on the Box RS2 transport was not just an increase in a quantitative fashion but a qualitative shift towards the illusion of live music. Since it outperformed the Pro-Ject power supply and costs $265 less, I highly recommend you purchase the Linear tube Audio LPS+ power supply and buy more CDs with your savings."

Bryston BD-PI Owner

I received the LPS+ yesterday and immediately connected it to my Bryston BDP-PI. Upon listening, the first thing I noticed was drums had more attack and better decay, particularly with snare drums. Next, I noticed that the bass was more musical. Finally, the soundstage had widened a bit and the imaging became more pinpoint. Come to think of it, the more I listened, the more it became apparent that everything had improved. Even my wife agreed. Thanks for building me a fantastic LPS at a very great price.

Pro-ject CD Box RS2 T Owner:

I just wanted to let you guys know I received the power supply today for my Pro-ject CD Box RS2 T and quite impressed on the difference right out of the box which is not easy for to say as I'm normally very hard to please and picky with sound quality.

Sonore opticalModule Deluxe Owner:

I thought I would email you and let you know how pleased I am with the 7 volt LTA+ LPS. It replaced a well-regarded but less expensive LPS on my Sonore optical ethernet and the result was an immediate and startling improvement in all aspects of streamed music. Everything was better: bass, dynamics, spaciousness, immediacy. The music just leaped out of my headphones and it was much easier to follow individual instrumental lines, even on recordings I have heard hundreds of times. I will probably order another one for the other side of my optical ethernet system given how much this LPS improved my recordings.
