International Clients
LTA has shipped all over the world for more than 10 years using DHL, FedEx and UPS. We can ship anywhere they service. Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, All countries of Europe, and even off-the-grid, using solar, in Kenya.
We have very successfully used DHL, FedEx and UPS all over the world without being lost or damaged. Our packaging is very robust, and our experience over 10 years, is that we have found the carriers to be very reliable. The responsibility is ours, to get it to you.
International Power
Our power amplifiers and integrated amplifiers work automatically with 110-120 or 220-240V power. Our DAC, Velo, Preamps and Z10e products have linear supplies and have to be manually switched when changing settings between 110-120 and 220-240V power.
When they come from the factory, they are configured for the country they are shipped to. The products that require manual switching utilize a switchable fuse block that can be changed by the owner. (For products going to Japan, the products use a different linear supply transformer).
How to get the unit to your doorstep:
1. Order on our website, or email, or call us.
2. We build your unit to order and burn it in for 5 days (total time typically 3-4 weeks)
3. We pack the unit securely using LTA custom designed packaging
4. We prepare the customs paperwork, including value and destination phone number
5. UPS, DHL or FedEx starts the customs clearing process electronically, when they pick it up. They submit the customs docs prepared by LTA, and the unit is delivered to customs.
6. Your country's customs will then contact you, with a bill for the import duty tax. The tax is calculated on the shipment value. For instance the EU is 22% of the price paid. (We typically can use a lower value)
7. You, the Client, must pay your country’s customs the import duty tax.
8. When paid, the Carrier delivers the unit to your door and awaits your signature.
Making Payments Internationally
You can use this website, as it accepts credit cards or Paypal. Both usually work internationally, but not everywhere. Bank transfer is often used for international payments. We also can send you an alternate invoice using Quickbooks, which accepts cards and bank transfers. You have to call or email for that.

International Warranty
We have a 3 year warranty on the units and 1 year on the tubes. For the first 1 year, if anything is happening with your unit that we cannot fix by sending you a replacement tube, we will pick up the unit at your house and bring it back to the factory to correct the problem. And we will pay to ship it back. If registered as a repair, when being returned to the factory, typically there is no import duty when the unit returns to your home.
After 1 year, you have to pay shipping to our factory and back. Any repairs are at no cost. If a tube has an issue, we can quickly send you a replacement. And of course, we keep all replacement tubes in stock, for all of our products we have ever made. Also, if there is shipping, we can help by utilizing our much lower rates.
We also have a service facility in London for European customers. We value repair shipments at a very low value, use classification codes to identify repairs, and anything else to ensure customs understands that the shipment is a repair and not an import, to minimize any duties or taxes. We have a lot of experience with this.
